Windows Mysql 5.7.3.0 installation configuration illustrated tutorial (installation version) _mysql

First MySQL official website from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/download MySQL server installation package, I download for version "

Mysql-installer-community-5.7.3.0-m13.msi "Not much to say, double-click to enter the installation."

Click on the Red box "Install MySQL Products" into the installation interface, as shown below:

According to the first and second steps in the diagram above, enter the following figure:

Enter the Setup interface as shown below:

In the old version, the installation type has 3 types of installation: typical ( Typical installation), Complete (fully installed) , and custom ( Custom installation).

Typical ( Typical installation) installation installs only MySQL server,mysql command line client, and command-line utility. command line clients and utilities include mysqldump, Myisamchk, and several other tools to help you manage your MySQL server.

Complete ( fully installed) installation installs all the components contained within the package. The full installation package includes components such as an embedded server library, a base suite, support scripts, and documentation.

Custom installation allows you to fully control the package and installation path you want to install.

In the new version, the options are different, but I choose the first one by default, and the other options look at the following figure:

Enter the pre-installation environment verification, as shown below:

Click on the "Execute" button, you may download some programs, then you click on the installation on the line, until all the completion of the installation is OK, the following figure:

Click "Next" to enter the installation, as shown below:

Enter the server configuration, as shown in the following figure:

You can select 3 server types and choose which server will affect the MySQL Configuration Wizard (Configuration Wizard) decision on memory, hard disk, and process or use.

· Developer Machine (Development machine): This option represents a typical personal desktop workstation. Assume that there are multiple desktop applications running on the machine. Configure the MySQL server to use minimal system resources.

· Server Machine: This option represents the server, and the MySQL server can run with other applications, such as FTP, email, and Web servers. The MySQL server is configured to use the appropriate proportional system resources.

· Dedicated MySQL server Machine (dedicated MySQL servers): This option represents a server running only the MySQL service. Assume that the run does not run another application. The MySQL server is configured to use all available system resources.

Click the "Next" button to enter the following image:

Click "Next" to enter the system services MYQSL configuration, as shown below:

Click "Next" to enter the log configuration interface, as shown below:

I simply configure the error log storage path, if you do not want to enter the log configuration, then in the "Server Configuration" where the Advanced configuration, as shown in the figure below:

After configuring the log, click "Next" to enter the final configuration, as shown below:
