Windows Optimization Master ActiveX Cleanup Tutorial

ActiveX is a set of control standards proposed by Microsoft based on COM (Component object model, component objects models). The activex/com component needs to be installed and registered in the system while it is in use, typically including the installation steps for the Activex/com component during the installation of the application.

As more and more applications start using the Activex/com component to extend their business logic, transaction processing, and application services, more and more activex/com components are installed in the system, and many applications do not delete these components at the same time when they are unloaded, so The Windows Optimizer master provides the user with the cleanup capabilities of the activex/com component.

Into the ActiveX cleanup of System Cleanup maintenance, click the Analysis button, and Windows Optimizer master automatically analyzes the activex/com components on the hard disk for validity.

After the check is complete, the user can expand the items in the analysis results list. Master of Windows optimization will describe the project's component name, version, related files, registration information, component status, and so on.

After the check is complete, the user can fix it by selecting the activex/com component of the green icon in the analysis results list. When fixed, Windows Optimization Master automatically backs up information about the component (registration information, files, and so on), and if a problem is fixed, the user can click the "Restore" button and go to the backup and Recovery manager with the Windows Optimizer master to recover the component. Registered users can click the "Repair all" button to fix all the items that can be safely repaired in the analysis result, if there is no item that can be repaired safely in the analysis result, the "Delete all" button is a gray and not clickable state.

In the analysis results list, different icons represent different meanings:

The red icon indicates that the activex/com component is normal, and Windows tuning Master does not allow repairs in safe mode.

The blue icon indicates that Windows Optimizer master cannot determine if the component is valid, and that Windows Optimizer does not allow repairs in safe mode.

The green icon indicates that there is a problem with the activex/com component, and Windows Optimization Master allows the repair of such components.
