A brief introduction of Android studio
The Android Studio IDE (Android Platform integrated development Environment) was first released by the GOOGLEI/O conference in 2013. It is based on the IntelliJ idea development environment and is designed to replace Eclipse and ADT (the Android Developer Tool) to provide developers with better development tools. Since Google has been trying to promote it, I believe it is expected to catch up with eclipse in the near future.
Compared to the eclipse,android Studio IDE, it has its own features:
Better support for designing and coding the UI interface to easily adjust multiple resolutions on the device. Proguard tools and application signatures are also supported. However, the current version of Android Studio cannot manage multiple projects in the same window. Each item will open a new window. I guess this is a reference to IntelliJ idea, and Google won't make any adjustments in the near future. It's great to support Gradle automation build tools, but it will take some time to learn and adapt to developers who just moved from the Eclipse platform.
Second, download and install the relevant software tools:
2.1, Development environment:
Physical machine Version: Win 7 (64-bit)
Java SDK Version: Jdk-7u79-windows-x64.exe
Android Studio version: Android-studio-bundle-143.2739321-window.exe
Note: The physical machine version and the Java SDK version must be consistent, that is, the same 64-bit or 32-bit.
2.2. Download JDK
I downloaded the JDK1.7 version, download the address:http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html
After downloading to the local computer, double-click to install. JDK installation process is relatively simple, the installation process is basically all the way next, do Java developers will, in the installation of the only need to pay attention to the JDK and JRE installed to the same directory, the JDK default installation after the success of the system directory will appear in two folders, a representative of the JDK, One represents the JRE
The full name of the JDK is the Java SE Development Kit, the Java Development Toolbox. SE represents the Standard Edition. The JDK is the core of Java, which contains the Java Runtime Environment (Java Runtime Environment), a bunch of Java tools, and Java class libraries that are invoked when developers develop applications.
We can open the Bin directory in the JDK installation directory, which has many executable programs named EXE, as shown in the following illustration:
These are the tools that JDK contains, and we can easily invoke these tools and their commands by configuring the JDK's variable environment.
the basic tools included in the JDK are:
Javac:java the compiler to turn the source code into bytecode. Jar: The packaging tool that packs the related class files into a single file. Javadoc: Document builder, extracting documents from source comments.
Java: running a compiled Java program.
2.3. Configure the variable environment for JDK on Windows
In order to configure the system variable environment for JDK, we need to set two system variables, namely Java_home,path. The following are the settings for these two variables.
1, Java_home
Configure environment variables after installing JDK computer → attributes → advanced system settings → advanced → environment variables;
Set the system variable name first, the variable value is the JDK installation path on your computer: E:\Program files\java\jdk1.7.0_75 is created, you can use%java_home% as the unified Reference path for the JDK installation directory.
system variable → new java_home variable.
Variable value fill in the installation directory of JDK (I am E:\Java\jdk1.7.0)
System variable → find Path variable → edit
Enter the%java_home%\bin;%java_home%\jre\bin at the end of the variable value;
(Note that the variable value of the original path has no; number, if not, first enter the number and then enter the code above)
system variable → new CLASSPATH variable
Variable value fill in.; %java_home%\lib;%java_home%\lib\tools.jar (Note that there is a point at the front)
System Variable Configuration complete
Verify that the configuration successfully runs CMD input java-version (there are spaces between Java and-version)
Displaying version information as shown in the illustration indicates a successful installation and configuration.
2.4, Android studio Download
Download Address: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html, note, download Android studio to FQ, but our company has servers, so this is very convenient;
When the download is complete, you can start the installation, double-click Android-studio-bundle-143.2739321-window.exe to start Setup, and the Android studio installation process is shown in the following illustration:
Androidstudio is integrated into the Android SDK, so remember to check the Android SDK when installing
This installation process is a bit long and takes a little time.
2.6. Start running Android Studio
The Android studio startup process is shown in the following illustration:
The first time you start Androidstudio, you need to set up the SDK installation directory.
The above is the entire content of this article, I hope to help you learn, but also hope that we support the cloud habitat community.
