Windows Server 2003 installs the IIS service and configures the Web site

First, install the IIS service

Brief introduction

IIS (Internet Information Server, Internet Information Service) is a Web (Web page) service component that includes Web servers, FTP servers, NNTP servers, and SMTP servers, respectively, for web browsing, file transfer, News services and email delivery make it easy to publish information on the Web, including the Internet and local area networks.

Installation

Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs,

Add/Remove Windows Components

Tick and click Details in front of the application server

Remove the little hooks (if any) before Internet Information Services (IIS), check the box again, and click on the details below

Then add all four services, such as Web, FTP, NNTP, and SMTP, in the IIS components.

Click OK, and then click Next to Install

After installation is complete

Click Finish, when IIS is added successfully, then go to "start → settings → control Panel → Administrative Tools →internet Service Manager (IIS Manager)" to open IIS Manager

Second, configure the Web site

From the Internet casually the next ASP website source code

Download it and unzip it.

Create a new Web site in Internet Services Manager (IIS Manager)

Click Next

Click Next, IP is 192.168.87.129, this is the host's ip! Use port 80!

Click Next, and point the directory path to the C:/fendo folder!

Click Next

Click Next

Create a successful!!!!

Copy the above extracted ASP files to the C:/fendo folder

Then set some IIS options, right-click on the new Fendo, properties, pop up the following interface

Select Home Directory, click Configure

Select Debug, tick the two hooks

Then click on the option, tick enable parent path

Then click OK, then select the document, click Add, and a new index. PHP file

Click OK, and then click Web Service extensions to set allow as shown in the figure.

Then visit the website through the browser: http://fendo/myadmin/index.asp display success!!!
