Resources (user accounts, computer accounts, shared folders, shared printers, network services, and so on) are posted to AD after Domain Services, users within the domain can easily query these resources. These resources, some of which can be automatically published to the domain when new, such as created users or computers, and others need to be published manually after creation, such as shared folders.
You can publish a shared folder only if you are a member of the Domain Admins Group or Enterprise Admins Group, or a member of a delegated permission.
