This chapter is a brief chat with you about features or modules that have been removed from Windows Server 2016 products or that you plan to potentially remove in the future.
File server
The share and Storage Management snap-microsoft management Console has been removed. Instead, do any of the following:
If you want to manage a computer that is running Windows Server 2016, compare the old operating system, use Remote Desktop to connect to it, and use the share and manage store to snap to the local version.
On a computer that is running Windows 8.1 or earlier, use the share and storage Management snap from RSAT to view the computers that you want to manage.
On a client computer that uses Hyper-V, run a virtual machine that is running Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 in RSAT with shared and storage Management snap.
Journal.dll
Journal.dll has been removed from Windows Server 2016.
Security Configuration Wizard
Remove the Security Configuration Wizard. Instead, the feature is protected by default. If you need to control specific security settings, you can use either Group Policy or Microsoft Security Compliance Manager.

The Wuauclt.exe/detectnow command was deleted and is no longer supported. To trigger a scan update, do any of the following:

Or, use this VBScript setting:
Automaticupdates = CreateObject ("Microsoft.Update.AutoUpdate") Automaticupdates.detectnow ()
Using features that start with Windows Server 2016 is not recommended

You should start planning for any applications, code, or other methods that you want to use now, depending on these features.
