Windows Server IIS 8-Install an SSL certificate

Copy the corresponding SSL certificate file code from the certificate message or from the User Center

Paste the code into the TXT text file

Then save as a CER or CRT file, note that the code is ANSI

Intermediate certificates and cross-certificates are also saved as CRT or CER files by the above method

Open Iis> Management

Select the server you want to manage

After selection, you can see the server certificate icon on the right.

Click to enter after we can see the certificate management interface, on its right-most menu

We click here to complete the certificate request

1. This file is the certificate file that is sent back to you by the certification authority.

2. Here is a name for itself, which is identified in the binding.

We'll be able to see our certificate here when we're done.

This is best to display the certificate, do not bind, need to process the certificate chain

This open process can be fully opened with the Certmgr.msc command directly to the manager

Click Start input Mmc>, open mmc> (2003> system, enter mmc> in start-up operation)

Click Browse, select the corresponding ca> certificate, then click Next

When you are finished, import the cross-certificate, just like the certificate you selected.

Intermediate and cross-certificate import after completion in the intermediate certification authorities can see the two certificates just imported, if not shown, please refresh, if not after the refresh, it must be the wrong certificate.

Confirm that these two certificates come back to personal certificate in the certificate, the intermediate Certification authority.

Double-click the certificate that you issued to yourself

See the certificate path

If it's a level four structure, then it's ok>.

If the three-level structure indicates that the system does not automatically correlate cross-identification, it needs to be dealt with in one step.

Double-click the top-most certificate.

Take a rough look at the issue and issuer of this certificate.

Then cut to the Trusted root certification Authority certificate

Find the certificate we just saw and delete it.

After deletion we are back to personal certificate, double click on our own certificate to see the certificate path

This becomes a level four structure. The certificate chain adjustment is complete.

Then on the left, select the site where we want to use the certificate, click Bindings on the right

Type using HTTPS

Certificate Select the certificate that we just imported.
