Windows system causes Excel date format changes to be invalid

Symptom (s): When a user edits an Excel table, it is not valid to change the way the date is displayed in the cell format, dd-mmm-yyyy or Mm-dd-yy. There is also the result that when AutoFilter occurs, the date arrangement cannot be ordered.

Reason: Chinese Windows system default date format conflicts with the English date format.

WORKAROUND: Control Panel--Regional and language Options--Regional options--standard and format--set as English (USA)
