Windows Tex Live + Sublime Text 3 + Sumatra PDF configuration

This article is written to my younger brothers on how to configure the latex environment (via Lex Live + Sublime Text 3 + Sumatra PDF).

1. TeX Live Configuration

First download the ISO image from Tex Live. It is not recommended to install online in the way that "installing TeX Live over the internet", because China's network is bad. The website gives 3 ways to download images, respectively

1, download from a nearby Ctan mirror;

2, manually choose a mirror from the list;

3, retrieve it via the Torrent network.

I chose the third kind, the younger brothers can also come to my side cuff.

After the download is complete, unzip the ISO image, or the virtual drive can do anything. Then open the Install-tl-advanced.bat file for installation. When the installation of the path selected, the others are by default. The configuration of Tex Live is complete.

2, Sublime Text 3 configuration

2.1 Download and install sublime Text 3 Skip .

2.2 Install the package control plug-in to sublime Text 3.

To use CTRL + ' shortcut keys or open the command line from the View->show console menu, paste the following code:

2.3 Installing the Latextools plug-in

Shortcut key shift+ctrl+p outgoing "package control", enter "install package" command, find Latextools to install.

2.4 Configuring the Latextools Plugin

First open the sublime Text3,preference->browse Packages. Open the "latextools" folder, locate the "latextools.sublime-settings", and copy it to the ". /user/"(Sublime Text 3\packages\user) directory. Then open the "latextools.sublime-settings" file and modify the following:

1. Find "Platform settings:adapt as needed for your machine" section
2. Change ["Texpath": ""] for ["Texpath": "XXX\\TEXLIVE\\2014\\BIN\\WIN32; $PATH"];
3. Release version ["Distro": "MiKTeX"] changed to ["Distro": "Texlive"]
4. Under the Build Engine Settings section, change ["Builder": "traditional"] to ["Builder": "Simple"]

3. Configure Sumatra PDF

First download at Sumatra PDF homepage: http://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/download-free-pdf-viewer.html. Unable to download has been uploaded to the network disk, please download according to your own system, see the end of the text.

Unzip and configure the environment variables, plus the Sumatra PDF full path.

Then execute the following command under CMD:

" \ "C:\Program files\sublime Text 2\sublime_text.exe\" \ "%f:%l\" "

4. Testing

Open Sublime Text3, create a Tex file, and edit the contents as follows:

\end{document}

Then Ctrl+s, and then ctrl+b, if there is no accident, you can see the effect.
