Oracle 11g installation

9. Below, select the base directory of time to pay attention to, it is best to create a new custom directory, the convenience of their own query and change, do not use this default, delete the time of trouble. Here's how to create a new custom directory.

10. Create a new custom directory: Create a new folder under D, named MyOracle, enter this folder, create a new folder inside it, and name Oracle. Note: The names of these two folders can be defined by themselves, but it is better not to use the names of Chinese famous folders, which are prone to problems. It is best to have a directory structure such as the following.

11. Continue the installation, click on the "Oracle base directory" after the browse:

12. Select the newly created D:\myoracle\oracle folder:

14. Select ' General purpose transaction processing ' and click Next:

20., configure the password, if you are afraid of trouble, if only to do the study, the unified password is OK. If you are advanced later, you can set the password separately. These few user permissions are different. I used the unified password, entered the oracle123 ... Note: Your password must start with a letter, the number begins, and there will be a lot of problems behind it.

22. After entering the above oracle123, it will pop up as follows: Here to note, Oracle's password standard is the combination of alphanumeric case is more than eight bits, generally if only for learning, do not care about this. Just point ' yes ' on the line.

26. Start Installation: The installation is slow, after installing the database software, you will also create a database instance, so wait for a good while, play after a while to come.

27. This appears after installation: Click OK to finish. Shut down.

This completes the installation of Oracle.

Test it and open the SQL plus that comes with Oracle.

User name: System Password Password: Oracle. (That's the password you defined in step 20). Smooth entry: Note that the password that Oracle entered here is not displayed, using the same way as the Linux login. Here you can enter the SQL statement.

oracle11g Uninstall

1. Turn off all Oracle services.

WINDOW7 users can shut down all services beginning with Oracle within the Windows Task Manager--service, and XP users can right-click on my Computer and manage services and applications-services to find all services beginning with Oracle , right-click, close.

2. Open the registry: regedit

Open path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
Remove all service names starting with Oracle under this path, which is a variety of services that identify Oracle's registration under Windows!

3. Locate the path:
Hkey_local_machine\software\oracle

Delete the Oracle directory under which the Software installation information for the Oracle database is registered.

4. Delete the registered Oracle Event log and open the registry
Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\eventlog\application

Delete all entries in the registry that begin with Oracle.

5. Delete the environment variables for Oracle content in path. (This step does not seem to be done.) ）

Right-click My Computer--Properties--advanced--environment variable-->path variable.

Delete the contents of Oracle in this value.  Note: A directory of operating systems is recorded in path, and semicolons are used between directories in Windows (; ) separated, note when deleting.

Recommendation: When deleting the value of Oracle in the PATH environment variable, copy the value to a text editor, find the corresponding Oracle value, delete it, then copy the modified string and paste it into the PATH environment variable, which is relatively safe.

6. Restart the operating system.

After the above steps have been completed, restart the operating system.

7. The various Oracle-related processes are not loaded after restarting the operating system.

Remove the Oracle installation directory, where the benefits of creating a separate directory are shown here. You can simply delete the custom Oracle folder directly. (Database things seem to be very slow to delete).

If you do not follow the customization, find the default installation directory and delete it.

8. Delete the Oracle item from the Start menu.

At this point, Oracle is completely uninstalled under the Windows platform.
