Windows Vista operating system common shortcut keys

Windows Vista also adds new shortcuts in addition to the inherited Windows family shortcut keys. Here's a copy of Windows Vista shortcuts that will help you easily use Vista shortcuts.

General shortcut Keys

These shortcuts make your computer easier to use.

ALT + Double-click: Show properties for selected items

Alt+enter: Displays the properties of the selected item

ALT+ESC: Switch in sequence when the project is open

ALT+F4: Close current active project or exit active program

Alt+print screen: Copy the selected window's image to the clipboard

ALT + SPACEBAR: Open the shortcut menu for the active window

ALT + TAB: Toggle in an open project

ALT + Underscore letter: Open menu command or other underlined command

ALT + UP ARROW: View the previous directory of the current folder in Windows Explorer

CTRL + A: Select all in a document or window

Ctrl+alt+del: The following options are displayed: Lock the computer, switch users, log off, change passwords, and start Task Manager

Ctrl+alt+tab: Switch between open items using the arrow keys

CTRL + C: Copy selected items:

CTRL + DOWN ARROW: Move the cursor to the beginning of the next paragraph

Ctrl+esc Open Start Menu

CTRL+F4 Close the active document (in the program allows you to open multiple documents at the same time)

CTRL + LEFT ARROW: Move the cursor to the beginning of the previous word

CTRL + RIGHT ARROW: Move the cursor to the beginning of the next word

ctrl+shift+ A direction key: Select a piece of text

Ctrl+shift+esc: Open Task Manager

CTRL + UP ARROW: Move the cursor to the beginning of the previous paragraph

Ctrl + V: Paste selected item

Ctrl+x: Cut Selected items

Ctrl+y: Restore an operation

Ctrl+z: Undo an action

Delete: Deletes the selected item and moves to the Recycle Bin
