Q: How is there no Group Policy in my XP system?
A: First make sure you enter the Gpedit.msc, in addition to XP system must be Professional version (ediation) have Group Policy, home version (home) is no Group Policy. If you want to join the Group Policy feature in the Home Edition, you can do this as follows
Do:
1. Copy the Gpedit.msc, Fde.dll, Gpedit.dll, Gptext.dll, wsecedit.dll files from the professional version of the "C:/windows/system32" folder to the home version of "c:/windows/ System32 "folder in the latest XP system download.
2. In "Start → run", run the following command in turn: "regsvr32 fde.dll", "regsvr32 gpedit.dll", "regsvr32 gptext.dll", "regsvr32 wsecedit.dll" respectively register the 4 A dynamic database.
3. Replace all *.adm files in the XP Pro version of the "C:/windows/inf" folder with the "C:/windows/inf" folder in the home version. Then click "Start → run" and enter "Gpedit.msc" to start Group Policy.
