Windows XP lower right corner taskbar small horn icon disappears

Sometimes when the system is re-installed, the system has sound, but the lower right corner of the taskbar's small horn icon disappears.

Operation Steps:

Step One:

Check your hardware sound card

Right-click My Computer-management-Device Manager-sound, video and game controller, see if there is a yellow question mark, if there is a need to reinstall the driver, if normal, then proceed to the next step;

Step Two:

Lower right-hand taskbar Right-click on select Properties-taskbar Click Customize-Change the notification behavior of the volume item to see if the selection is always hidden, changed to always show or hidden when inactive;

Step Three:

Control Panel-sound, voice and audio devices-sound and audio Devices-tick the volume icon into the taskbar;

If it restarts, the trumpet disappears again! See next step

Step Four:

Modify the registry, friendly reminder, the registration form must be backed up before Oh!

Win+r, enter regedit return to open the registry

Then open Hkey_local_machinesoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionrun.

Right-new string "Systray", double-click the Edit key value of "C:winntsystem32systray.exe", as shown below
