Windows XP system access to GPT hard drives or U disk methods
Since GPT disks are accessible on the WIN2003 SP2 system, we need to borrow some of the files in it. Copy the Disk.sys file of the 2003 SP2 system and replace it under the WinXP system or under PE.
WinXP replacement needs to system32dllcache inside the Disk.sys rename, WinXP can not find the good. If you don't have this file, you don't have to ignore it.
WinXP there's a place for Windowsdriver cache. You can either empty this place or rename the Drivers.cab file. Copy the Win2003 Disk.sys to the Dllcache and driver cache.
Then delete the WinXP system32drivers inside of the Disk.sys well now the system can identify GPT hard drive or u disk.
The advantage of using this method is that there is no need to use third-party software, and there is no situation that is causing the WinXP system to be unstable. Of course more direct method or suggest everybody WinXP system to replace Win7 above, after all, now Win7 system is mainstream, also more stable, have need friend can download the latest Win7 system OH.
