WINDOWS10UWP: How can I tell if a file or folder exists?

Using the Storagefolder.trygetitemasync method, try to get the file or folder by name without adding the error capture logic to the code (as if using Storagefolder.getitemasync same). If a file or folder is not found, trygetitemasync returns nullwithout throwing an exception. Because this method returns null, you can use it to check whether the specified file or folder exists.

Note that it is generally important to use Trygetitemasync to determine if a file exists and then proceed to the next step. Then you must wait with await before Trygetitemasync , otherwise you will not be sure if the file exists!
