Windows7 Disk Management for hard disk partitioning

First, open the Control Panel----management tools----Computer Management----Disk Management, the new hard disk on the unallocated disk on the right----Select a new simple volume;

Then click Next, and in this step, fill in the size of the disk you want to create a new partition, where the editor is divided into 250G partitions. Enter 250000MB on the Red box and click Next.

Allocate space

Then give the newly-divided disk, the disk character allocation, by default. If you want to change, click the red box to replace it, and then click Next to enter the disk format. In this step, the label can be left blank, or can be named, other default, click Next;

Select Letter

A new H-disk appeared.

Tip: Before saying to divide a 250G disk, why here only 244G, that is because the 250000MB just entered is not 250G capacity size. Then we open the "My Computer" to look at, you will see a more than just a separate disk. In addition, the use of Windows 7 with the Disk Management tool to partition the hard disk, does not cause loss of data, error and so on, and very clean will not have a garbage file.
