Understanding VMware Workstation
VMware Workstation is a powerful desktop virtual computer software that provides the best solution for users to run different operating systems simultaneously on a single desktop and to develop, test, and deploy new applications. VMware workstation can simulate a complete network environment on a physical machine, as well as a portable virtual machine, with better flexibility and advanced technology than any other virtual computer software on the market. For enterprise IT developers and system administrators, VMware's features in virtual networks, real-time snapshots, drag-and-drop shared folders, and PXE support make it an essential tool.
VMware Authorization Service not running solution
This bug is probably out of the 7.1.X version, currently using this version or more users.
The first boot is normal after the VMware Workstation is installed, but after the computer shuts down, starting VMware workstation will prompt the VMware Authorization Service not to run.
Every time you start VMware Workstation to start the service, this is more cumbersome.
The author's solution is to right-click the VMware Workstation shortcut on the desktop-properties. The following figure can be set:
When you are done, make sure that your VMware Authorization service is activated or automated.
xp method: Start-Control Panel-Administration Tools-services (set up VMware Authorization Service for automatic)
Win7 method: Start-Control Panel-system and security-management tools-services (set up VMware Authorization Service for automatic)
Finally shut down the computer, turn the computer back on, and then start the VMware Workstation on the desktop and try it.
