Open Device Manager, find the hardware location you want to scan for, select the hardware you want to scan for changes, select the right mouse button, and select "Scan for hardware changes (A)". As shown in figure (13)
2. Disable Equipment
Open Device Manager, find the location of the device you want to disable, select the hardware you want to scan for changes, select the right mouse button, and select Disable (D). As shown in figure (14)
