1. After downloading, I unzipped the directory: D:\Tomcat\apache-tomcat-9.0.1-windows-x64
2. Install the JDK and JRE, and configure the environment variables;
2.1 User variable new Java_home;
2.2 System Variable Classpath added:.; C:\Program Files\java\jdk1.8.0_144\lib\dt.jar; C:\Program Files\java\jdk1.8.0_144\lib\tools.jar;
2.3 System variables added in path:%java_home%\bin;
2.4 Verify that the JDK is installed, and view the version:
Java
Javac
Java-version 64-bit
Javac-version
3. Configure the Tomcat environment variable;
3.1 Edit User variables:
3.2 Editing System Variables Classpath:%catalina_home%\lib\servlet.jar
3.3 Editing System variables path:%catalina_home%\bin
4. Verification
Open the command line, Windows-cmd.
Under the D:\Tomcat\apache-tomcat-9.0.1-windows-x64\apache-tomcat-9.0.1\bin directory
Click Start:
In the browser input: http://localhost:8080/, it will appear:
If a 404 error occurs, the 8080 port is occupied, you can start Task Manager to kill the 8080 port process, restart Tomcat!
Here, the Tomcat installation configuration is complete!
