WINXP Help File Problems
I don't know how to get started. I clicked winxpto help me. I found a prompt that I couldn't find helpctr.exe. I found a download on the Internet. I didn't respond to it any time I double-clicked it. I just found it and checked it for no symptoms ~ It does not seem like a Trojan. Then I searched for helpctr.exe and found a double-click on drive C. It seems that there is a problem with the WINXP help file.
Search online. Some say that the Help and Support Service is not started. I looked at the service list and started help and support. It seems that this is not the problem. Finally, find the "System Help and Support file accidental deletion or optimization leading to a Help File error", take a look at the steps:
Start --> RUN c: \ windows \ INF and press enter to search for pchealth. INF.
Right-click pchealth. inf and install
The system prompts you to insert a CD, pointing to the i386 folder.
Click OK ............ OK
Finally, run cmd, press enter, and enter CD/d c: \ windows \ pchealth \ helpctr \ binaries.
Press enter. Enter start/W helpsvc/svchost netsvcs/regserver/install and press Enter. The reset can be completed in a few seconds.
