This is suitable for troubleshooting Android devices that are unable to connect to the computer through OTG connections, causing logcat information to be viewed and debugged.

  • Connect the android-powered device via USB to your computer.
  • From your SDK platform-tools/ directory, enter at the adb tcpip 5555 command prompt.
  • Enter should now is connected to the adb connect <device-ip-address>:5555 android-powered device and can issue the usual adb commands like adb logcat .
  • To set your device to listen on USB, enter adb usb .
