Wireless Router Setup Tutorial

After connecting the computer and the wireless router with the network cable, set up the computer networking settings first

1, right click on "Network Neighborhood", choose "attribute";

2, right click on "Local Connection", select "Properties";

3, double click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)";

4, select "Automatically obtain IP address" and "Automatically obtain DNS server address";

5, confirm.

In the browser input 192.168.1.1 into the router settings, username and password are generally admin (not the words according to the instructions of the IP address and username password).

Set Network parameters First

Use static IP settings within the LAN. Click Next to appear in the following image format

Now you can set up your extranet IP and other information, the school's DNS generally set to 202.192.240.33 and 221.5.88.88.

Set up a wireless network

Fill in the SSID number, which is the name of the wireless network (its own definition).

Set up wireless security

Enable WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, and then set the PSK password. This password is required to connect to a wireless network such as a laptop computer.
