New configuration file
When we activate the two fap210b, we will see a configuration file by default, this profile is used to configure the wireless parameters, if the access is a different type of AP, you need a different profile, click the menu "WiFi and switch Controller"-"Wireless Network"-"FORTIAP configuration file" , click New;
First you need to select the correct model, in the model options to the right of the bottom of the sword, you can see all the supported AP models;
Inadvertently selected fap221b model, not FAP210B model, the results found that fap221b can set two radio, and fap210b only one;
The original FAP210B only support a radio frequency, that is, a transmitting receiving card, and fap221b is a dual-frequency device, with two RF cards, theoretically dual-band equipment with the number of users is twice times the single-frequency device, but the two RF cards are usually only one 2.4G, one for 5G;
If you need to detect the wireless intrusion, then select the appropriate configuration file in the Wids, the configuration content can be in the menu "WiFi and switching controller"-"Wireless Network"-"Wids Configuration" to modify;
When setting the frequency band, you need to popularize the knowledge of WiFi:
First generation: IEEE 802.11a physical rate 54Mbps frequency range: 5.150-5.350ghz,5.475-5.725ghz,5.725-5.825ggz;
Second generation: IEEE 802.11b physical rate 11Mbps frequency range: 2.4g-2.4835ghz;
Third generation: IEEE 802.11g physical rate 54Mbps frequency range: 2.4g-2.4835ghz;
Fourth generation: IEEE 802.11n physical rate 300Mbps frequency range: 2.4g-2.4835ghz,5.150-5.850ghz;
Fifth generation: IEEE 802.11ac physical rate 1Gbps frequency range: 5.150-5.350ghz,5.475-5.725ghz,5.725-5.825ggz;
5G Wi-Fi (802.11AC) refers to the fifth generation of Wi-Fi transmission technology, and runs in the 5GHZ Radio frequency band (here is a myth, not running in the 5Ghz band Wi-Fi is 5G Wi-Fi, The standard Wi-Fi protocol running in the 5Ghz band includes 802.11a (first generation), 802.11n (fourth generation) and 5Ghz (fifth generation), and only Wi-Fi with the 802.11AC protocol is the true 802.11AC Wi-Fi). Although the WiFi chips of mobile phones have supported dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) operation earlier, the protocol used is still 802.11n, not the latest 802.11AC standard, not the true 5G WiFi, It can be seen as simple as running 5GHz band with 802.11n of WiFi, performance has been discounted.
Now we can see FAP210B, support 2.4GHz B, G, N,5ghz A, n, does not support real 5G WiFi 802.11ac.
2.4G Advantage is the frequency band indoor environment with strong anti-attenuation ability, good ability to wear walls. Disadvantage is that many devices are used 2.4GHz, such as Bluetooth, ZigBee wireless, so much interference, can not guarantee enough stability.
The advantage of 5G is strong anti-jamming ability, wide bandwidth, high throughput rate, strong expansibility, the disadvantage is that the 5G is only suitable for indoor small-area coverage and outdoor bridge, a variety of obstacles to its attenuation effect is much larger than 2.4g.
FORTIAP 321C supports 5G WiFi 802.11ac in real sense.
Of course, if the AP supports both 2.4G and 5G two RF is best, if not supported, it is recommended to set the highest usage, the best compatibility 2.4GHz 802.11 n/g/b.
1) IEEE 802.11B/G Standard operates in the 2.4G band with a frequency range of 2.400-2.4835ghz and a total of 83.5M bandwidth
2) divided into 14 sub-channels
3) 22MHz per sub-channel width
4) Center frequency interval of adjacent channel 5MHz
5) Multiple adjacent channels exist frequency overlap (such as 1 channels with 2, 3, 4, 5 channels have frequency overlap)
6) only 3 (1, 6, 11) channels are not interfering with each other in the entire frequency band
You can see that the default channel is the choice of 1, 6, 11, because the entire band only these 3 non-interference channels.
Add the SSID that you set earlier, click OK, and the configuration file is built.
Application configuration file
Click on the menu "WiFi and switch Controller"-"manageable devices"-"FORTIAP Management", select the AP to modify the profile, click Edit;
Click on the FORTIAP profile to select the newly created configuration file;
After confirming, you can see that the profile of this AP has been modified.
This enables the second AP to be 2.4G based on the profile, while the SSID is the long-dimension office WiFi.
