Word 2007 Tips: Automatically compress picture dimensions

Although you can reduce the size of a word file by compressing all the pictures or the size of the pictures in a Word 2007 document, it is cumbersome to perform a compression operation each time. The user can set Word 2007 picture compression options to achieve the purpose of automatically compressing picture dimensions when saving Word 2007 documents, as described in the following steps:

Step 1th, open the Word 2007 document window and select any picture. In the Format tab of the open Word 2007 Picture Tools Ribbon, click the Compress Picture button in the adjustments group, as described in the figure.

Step 2nd, in the open Word 2007 Compress Picture dialog box, click the Options button, as shown in the figure.

Step 3rd, open the Word 2007 Compression Settings dialog box, select the automatically perform basic compression on save check box, and click OK, as shown in the figure.
