Word 2007 Tips: Setting up automatic adjustments

In a Word 2007 document, a user can set up a table to automatically adjust its width depending on the content or size of the window, and, of course, to fix the width of a Word 2007 cell, as described in the following steps:

Step 1th, open the Word 2007 document window and click any cell in the table. Switch to the Layout tab in the Word 2007 table Tools Ribbon, and then click the AutoFit button in the cell size group, as shown in the figure.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word 2007 AutoFit menu, the AutoFit table to content option indicates that each cell in the table automatically adjusts its height and width according to the content. The Window AutoFit table option indicates that the table size changes automatically depending on the size of the word page (for example, different paper types). The fixed column width option means that each cell retains its current size unless the user changes its size, as shown in the figure.
