To be able to use the keyboard to enter symbols that are not on the keyboard directly, users can do so by adding "autocorrect" entries to common symbols in Word2010. The steps for adding AutoCorrect entries to common symbols in Word2010 are as follows:
In step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and switch to the Insert Ribbon. Click the symbol button in the symbols group, and click the more symbols option, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, open the Symbol dialog box, find and select the symbol that you want to add the AutoCorrect entry (for example, the ≌ number), and click the AutoCorrect button, as shown in Figure 2.

3rd step, in the Word2010 AutoCorrect dialog box that opens, switch to the AutoCorrect tab, enter the replacement key (such as = = =) that you want to use in the Replace edit box, and click the add → OK button, as shown in Figure 3.

Step 4th, return to the Symbol dialog box and continue adding an AutoCorrect entry for the other symbols. Set Finish click the Cancel button to close the Symbol dialog box. (www.3lian.com)
