Word 2010 Formula editing usage tips and problems

Used to use MathType6.0 with Word editing mathematical formulas, using MathType shortcut keys can be basically without a mouse, very convenient. Word2007 out after I use its own formula editing function to edit the formula, but the total feel inconvenient, after a period of time to go back to the old road, to regain MathType. After 2010 came out, the new aroused my interest, spent a week to study the word2010 formula editing function, there are some feelings and findings, but feel that this feature and 2007 does not seem to have much improvement, here I write out, and interested friends to explore.

1. Common Formula shortcut keys

Default start formula Edit: "Alt" + "="; Subscript: "_"; Superscript: "^"; Score: "/".

2. Manual input formula of common commands

Press "Alt" + "=" to start the formula editing function, write the command to the right slash "" "" "" ", such as the Greek letter A (Alpha): Alpha; pi: pi; multiplication: times and so on, where to find the common commands? When we start the formula panel, in the upper-left corner of the editing screen, the small arrow in the lower-right corner of the point Set Formula tool, the "Formula Options" dialog box is clicked, and the "Math AutoCorrect" option is available, and you can see a lot of statements in it to find it. 3. Use "Math AutoCorrect" to define your shortcut commands

As mentioned earlier, the command to enter Greek letter A (Alpha) is "alpha", if you're having trouble finding the command to enter Greek letter A (Alpha) in "Math AutoCorrect", change "alpha" to "a" in "Replace", click OK to exit "Math AutoCorrect", You can define other commands in the future by simply using "a" and then a space when entering the Greek letter A (alpha).

4. Current Problems

Word2007 (word2010) with the formula editing module, I feel very good, but still have a few problems to solve:
(1) Input formula can not automatically italic, the English version of the automatic italic;
(2) in the fractional and Chinese counterparts mixed-row time of the mother, the molecule will be small affect beauty (this problem most need to be resolved), "formula options" in the "reduce the size of nested fractions in the formula" button check and no check are unchanged;
(3) Every time you start editing the formula, switch in English is very troublesome, and MathType into the formula editing state is the default English, exit formula editing state, automatically back to the previous input method state, word2010 can also this?
