This problem occurs today. The word is just closed and cannot be opened. The above prompt is displayed.
Solution:
Open a Word document
Then select file -- open -- Select Your corrupted word
Click the downward arrow on the right to open and select Open and repair,
Generally, it can be opened.
I opened it in this way.
Other reference solutions are as follows:
When you open a Word 2003 document, the system prompts: "word cannot read this document, and the document may be damaged. Please try the following methods: * Open and fix the file * use the text recovery converter to open the file * confirm disk space ". The above method is not valid.
After upgrading to Word 2007, the prompt is exactly the same. If the prompt "Confirm disk space" is missing, the result is invalid. I have changed the registry, but I still cannot! I suspect someone has moved this document! How can I open this document?
Question added:My system patch and Office 2007 Patch are the latest!
WPS also tried to prompt that any text-encoded file conversion would display garbled characters! The opening of the WordPad and notepad is also garbled ...... Questioner: gafy2008-6 assistant level 2 Replies

If the repair fails, the file is broken and cannot be opened.
Can I use easyrecovery to restore it?
No other software will work.
