1. Open the Drawing toolbar.

Click the View menu, locate toolbars, select drawing, or right-click in the space of the Standard toolbar and select the Drawing tool to open the Drawing toolbar.

2. Remove the canvas that appears when drawing.

When drawing with the graphical tools in Word XP, there will always be a "canvas" where some users may not want to see it, we can execute the Options command on the Tools drop-down menu, and on the General tab, remove the "Automatically create canvas when inserting (AutoShapes)" check box, This way we don't have the canvas when drawing with the graphical tools.

3. Use the same drawing tool multiple times.

In general, when you click a drawing tool, you can draw the corresponding graphic, but only once, and if you want to use the same drawing tool more than once, double-click on the corresponding Drawing tool button and the button will remain in the pressed state, and when you don't need the tool, click on the corresponding Drawing tool button or press ESC "key. If you then switch to a different tool, click the tool button you want to use, and release the drawing tools that you used more than once.

4. Change the style of the arrows.

The Word XP drawing tool can draw arrows directly, but the arrows you draw are not necessarily the styles we need, and you can easily draw the appropriate arrows by using the Format AutoShape dialog box. Open the Format AutoShape dialog box: ① moves the mouse over the arrow, and when the mouse becomes a four-arrow flag, Double-click the left mouse button; ② move the mouse over the segment, and when the mouse becomes a four-arrow flag, right-click and choose the Format AutoShape option on the shortcut menu; ③ with the Drawing tool, click the arrow Style button on the Drawing toolbar to select a line with arrows, or select the other arrow (M) Activate the Format AutoShape dialog box. After you activate the Format AutoShape dialog box, you can set the style, width, and length of the arrows in the dialog box.

5. Draw a special angle of the line.

If you want to draw a horizontal, vertical, or 150, 300, 450, 600, 750 angle of the straight line, then fixed an end point when you drag the mouse hold the SHIFT key, drag the mouse up and down, you will appear the above several line selection, suitable after releasing the SHIFT key ( Press the CTRL key at the same time to draw a straight line extending from the starting point to both sides.

6. Draw the tick marks on the axis.

Click the Rectangle tool, drag out the rectangle, right-click the rectangle, select the Size tab in the Format AutoShape dialog box, choose 0[Height], 0.1[width].

7. Draw points.

Click the Ellipse tool and press the SHIFT key to drag a small circle with the mouse, double-click (or right-click) the circle, and in the Format AutoShape dialog box, fill in black.

8. Draw an arc.

Drawing Toolbar-AutoShapes-Basic shapes-use the Arc tool, Shift-drag to draw a 450 arc, hold down the CTRL key to draw an arc extending from the starting point to both sides (while holding down the SHIFT and CTRL keys to draw a 450 arc from the beginning to the sides). The distance of the mouse drag determines the length of the arc, the direction of the drag determines the direction of the arc opening.

9. Draw squares and rectangles.

Click the Rectangle tool, press and hold the Shif T key to drag the mouse to draw a square, hold down the CTRL key to draw a rectangle that expands from the starting point to the surrounding, and hold down the SHIFT and CTRL keys to draw a square that expands from the starting point to the surrounding.

10. Draw positive circles and ellipses.

11. Move or copy the object.

Hold down the SHIFT key and drag to move vertically or horizontally, while pressing the SHIFT and CTRL keys to move objects vertically or horizontally to a new location, or by pressing the CTRL key and then dragging the object to any location.

12. Rotate or flip the object.

Select Object-Drawing toolbar-rotate or flip--[free rotation], use the ring arrow pointer to cover a green control point, the traction object around its center of mass rotation; If you want to change the unit rotation at 150 angle, hold down the SHIFT key while you are pulling.

13. Fill and line Color of the text box.

Sometimes you need to label descriptive text on the graphic, these words can not obscure the graphic or other text, the following way to solve: the Drawing toolbar [text box]----double-click the text box edge-pop the "Format text box" dialog box, [Color and line] Label--[fill Color]--click " No Fill color--[line Color]--Click Wireless Bar Color--Drag the text box to the ready-to-drop position.

If some parts of the graph need to be obscured, you can use this method: Drawing toolbar [text box]--the text box to the appropriate size with a two-headed arrow-double-click the text box edge to format the text box--[fill color] and [line color] set to [white]-- Use the four-headed arrow to drag the text box to where you want it to be obscured. 14. Draw Shadows.

15. How to fine-tune the position of graphics and images.

The micro-shift technique makes it easier to draw details, or to control the movement of objects at very small distances, using the following methods: ① hold down the ALT key and drag the object you want to move with the mouse; ② on the Drawing toolbar, click Draw-the drawing grid, set horizontal spacing and vertical spacing to the minimum, That is, 0.01 characters and 0.01 lines, drag the object to move with the mouse, ③ when adjusting the position of the graphic or image, using the mouse to drag less accurate, often can not reach a satisfactory position, the user may select the graphic or image after holding down the CTRL key while using the arrow keys to fine-tune.

16. Quickly arrange the graphics in Word.

In general, we want to make a neat and beautiful arrangement between the graphic and the text in a document, the trick is to first press the "Shift" key and click each graphic that you want to align. Then click the Draw button on the Drawing toolbar, choose the Align or Distribute option in the pop-up menu, and select a way to align or distribute
