Word is very powerful in finding and replacing features that can be used to solve a lot of problems in editing a document. Below, we introduce the application of this function through four examples.
Task one, bulk set font format
Task requirements: A long Word document, many of which contain the word "blog", now requires that the word be all set to the underlined red bold text.
How to: Replace All "blogs" in your document with bold, red, underlined blogs.
First step: Open the document, first select the word "blog" in one place, and then press the key combination ctrl+f to open Word's Find and Replace dialog box.
Step two: In the Replace tab of the Find and Replace dialog box, the word "blog" is automatically entered in the Find what text box, and in this step, we also enter "blog" in the "replace with" square frame.
Step three: This step is to format the text content entered in the "Replace with" square box. Position the cursor in the Replace with text box, click Advanced, and then click Format. In the menu that pops up, choose Font to open the Font dialog box, where font style selects bold, font color selects red, underline style selects thin underline, and then clicks OK to go back to the. Find and Replace dialog box.
Fourth step: On the Replace tab of the Find and Replace dialog box, the Find and replace options that you set in the previous step appear below the find what and Replace with text boxes. If bold, underline, red (Figure 1) appears below the Replace with text box, the above setting is correct, Finally click the Replace All button.
