Insert Diploma Template
First, get a picture of your diploma template, then create a blank document in Word 2007, click on the toolbar "page layout → paper Direction", select "Landscape", click "Insert → picture" on the toolbar, and insert a picture of the prepared diploma template into your Word document.
Next, right-click the picture and choose Format Picture to switch to the size option. In the Pop-up Size dialog box, remove the hook for the lock aspect ratio, set the height and width proportions under scale to 100%, and then enter the data after height and width (24.01cmx 16.84cm).
Then, click page layout → margins, select custom margins, and in the Page Setup dialog box, switch to the Margins option and set the top, bottom, left, and right margins to "0." When the settings are complete, the picture just fills up the entire page.
Finally, right-click the picture to select Format picture, switch to the layout option, select around, and save the Word document as a "college diploma template. Doc".
Add a text box
Now the template also needs to add text according to the actual requirements, so we want to add a text box. Click on the toolbar "Insert → text box → draw text box", use the mouse to drag a text box on the picture, and copy the blank text box to all the places you need to fill in the text box, enter text, set the appropriate font and font size.
Then hold down the SHIFT key to select all the text boxes, right-click the text box and select Format text box. Switch to the color and line option, click the Small triangle button at the color, select No color, and then set transparency under fill to 100%, switch to the Text Box tab, and move the top, bottom, left, The right inner margin is set to "0".
Finally, hold down the SHIFT key to select all the text boxes and right-click the text box to select group → group.
Merging student data
First, prepare the fill information for your diploma (for example, "2011 Diploma data. xls" file, rename the worksheet "Sheet1" to "student List"). Then open the "University Diploma template. doc" File, click on the menu bar "mail → select recipients → Use the existing list", in the pop-up "Select Table" dialog box, select "2011 Diploma data. xls" in the "Student List" worksheet.
Select the text box where you want to fill in the student's name, click Insert Merge field → student name, and the other text boxes are similar. After you insert the field contents, click Preview Results to check for problems. A problem can be solved immediately.
Finally, click Finish and merge, select Print Document, and in the Merge to Printer dialog box that pops up, select all (the author passes the test successfully in the dpk8400e printer).
