to compress picture dimensions in Word 2007

Step 1th, open the Word 2007 document window and select any picture. In the Format tab of the open Word 2007 Picture Tools Ribbon, click the Compress Picture button in the adjustments group, as described in the figure.

Step 2nd, in the open Word 2007 Compress Picture dialog box, click the Options button, as shown in the figure.

Step 3rd, open the Word 2007 Compression Settings dialog box, select the automatically perform basic compression on save check box, and click OK, as shown in the figure.
