The Word2010 floating toolbar has a human function, and when the text in the Word2010 document is selected, a semitransparent State floating toolbar appears if the user moves the mouse pointer to the right of the selected text. The toolbar contains commands for formatting text, such as setting the font, font size, color, center alignment, and so on. Moving the mouse pointer over the floating toolbar will make the commands fully visible, allowing you to easily format the text, as shown in Figure 1.

If you don't need to display a floating toolbar in the Word2010 document window, you can turn it off in the Word Options dialog box, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window, and click the file → options button, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 2nd, in the Open Word Options dialog box, cancel the Show mini Toolbar on selection check box on the Standard tab, and click OK, as shown in Figure 3.
