One, click into your Word document, select the menu bar "view--Draft" switch to draft view;

Second, then switch to the menu bar "Reference" card, select the footnote option "Show Notes", as shown in the following figure;

Third, at the bottom of the word interface that appears, select footnote separator, you can see the horizontal line;

Select the horizontal line and click the DEL key on the keyboard to delete it;

Then click the Close button of the footnote box to return to the word interface.

Switch back to the View option and click Page view to return to the regular word interface;

At this point, you can see that word's footnote line has been deleted.
