How to set the table border Bar!
To set a table border method one: Use a preset border style
1 position the mouse cursor in the table, and then in the Table tool Design tab, border group, click Border Style, and select the appropriate border style from the expanded list.
2 This time the mouse cursor changes to a brush shape, clicking or pressing the left mouse button on the box line that you want to apply the border style to does not place the border line.
The 3 effect is shown in the following figure.
Note: You can use the same method to use border styles on other borders.
Set table Border method Two: custom border style
1 position the mouse cursor in the table, and then in the Table Tools Design tab, in the Border group, click Pen Style to select the appropriate style from the expanded list.
2 Click Stroke thickness to select the appropriate weight from the expanded list.
3 Click Pen Color to select the appropriate color from the expanded list.
4 Use the mouse to select the cells that need to use the above defined style.
5 Click the lower triangle next to borders and select the appropriate border from the expanded list.
6 Now the effect is shown in the following figure.
Set table Border Method Three: dialog box settings
1 Double-click the button in the upper-left corner of the table, and the ribbon will switch to the table Tools-> Design tab, in the Borders group, click the bottom triangle, and then click Borders and Shading.
2 Open the Borders and Shading dialog box, on the Borders tab, click the Settings group, select the border area you want to set, and then in the Style box, select the appropriate border style, color, width, and then click OK.
3 Now the effect is shown in the following figure.
