word2013 turn on automatic backup function as follows:

Step one: The left mouse button double click on the computer Desktop Word2013 program icon, open it to run. In the Open Word2013 program window, click the "Blank Document" option to create a new blank Word document. As shown in the picture;

Step two: In the Open Word document window, click the "File" command option in the upper-left corner. As shown in the picture;

Step three: In the Open File Command window, click the Options command option. As shown in the picture;

Step four: Click the "Options" command option, this time will open the Word Options dialog window. As shown in the picture;

Step five: In the Open Word Options dialog window, switch the tab to the Advanced tab bar. As shown in the picture;

Step six: On the Advanced tab, in the right window, locate the Always create backup copy option in the Save group, check it out, and then click the OK button to close the Word Options window. As shown in the picture;
