Background: In the WIN7 environment, this function accesses the native IIS Web site, but the LAN other computers cannot access it.
Workaround:
One, if the IIS Web site is port 80:
Click on the "PC" icon in the bottom right corner
, click on "Open Network and Sharing Center"
Click "Windows Firewall" in the bottom left corner of the popup screen
, click "Allow programs or features to pass through Windows Firewall" in the top left corner
--Tick "World Wide Web Service (HTTP)"
, click OK.
Second, if the IIS Web site is not port 80:
"Windows Firewall"
"Advanced Settings"
Windows Firewall with advanced Security on the local computer
"Inbound Rules"
"BranchCache content Retrieval (HTTP-LN)"
On the right, enable the rule and create a new rule:
1. Select the rule type "port" and the next step;
2. Select the "specific local port" that applies to "TCP", enter the website port number, and the next step;
3. Select "Allow connection", next step;
4. Select all items (domain/private/public), next;
5. Fill in the custom name, description, complete.
Note: The rules you have created can be queried in the inbound rules list.
