Workaround for Mac java.net Local host name unknown error

Phenomenon

When you start Tomcat on your mac, the following error is reported:

Error:exception thrown by the agent:java.net.MalformedURLException:Local host name Unknown:java.net.UnknownHostExcept Ion:XXXX:XXXX:nodename nor ServName provided, or not known

Workaround

View the contents of the /ect/hosts file:
127.0.0.1 localhost
It seems nothing unusual, but through

Scutil––get HostName


command to view the returned really empty, so only the default host is set manually

" localhost "


LocalHost must exist here in the hosts File.
