Working with the Isdecimal () method of strings in Python

The Isdecimal () method checks whether a string consists of only decimal characters. This method exists only in Unicode objects.

Note: To define a string as Unicode, simply prefix the ' u ' to the left quotation mark. The following is an example.

The following is the syntax for the Isdecimal () method:

Str.isdecimal ()

Parameters

return value

This method returns true if all characters in the string are decimal, otherwise false is returned.
Example

The following example shows the use of the Isdecimal () method.

When we run the above program, it produces the following results:
