[WP7] how to install WP7

The RTM package of WP7 has been released for a long time, and I have already installed it. After installation, expression blend for Windows Phone, Visual Studio 2010 express for Windows Phone, and Windows Phone tools are added to the Start Menu, after the installation, the WP7 project can be created normally in blend and vs Express, but not in vs2010 utimate on my computer (but there is an xNa 4.0 Development Kit ), I felt very uncomfortable, so I struggled to uninstall and install it repeatedly, but the problem was still not solved, so I had to solve it manually.

The solution is as follows:

1. Since the WP7 project can be created normally in vs Express, it indicates that the WP7 Project template has been properly installed on the computer, and this project template is not available in the vs flagship version, this indicates that the flagship Edition does not normally read the template file, so you only need to copy the template to the flagship edition template directory.

2. Find the WP7 Project template file in the path X: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0 \ common7 \ ide \ projecttemplates \ CSHARP \ Silverlight for Windows Phone.

3. There is a problem here. The path of this template is clearly the installation directory of vs. Why cannot the flagship version be read normally? (I did not expect why), so I can only copy the Silverlight for Windows Phone folder to X: \ Users \ Administrator \ Documents ents \ Visual Studio 2010 \ Templates \ projecttemplates \ Visual C #, this is the directory where vs user templates are stored.

In this way, open vs ultimate again and find the Silverlight for Windows Phone Project template in the C # directory.

After N months, I think the functions of express for Windows Phone are too weak, because some Silverlight projects are required at ordinary times, however, express for Windows Phone cannot be used for general Silverlight project development, So I uninstalled the original express for Windows Phone and installed expression studio 4, as a result, after the installation is complete, the problem is the same as that of Vs, And the WP7 Project template cannot be found (after another tangle), because the original express for Windows Phone has been completely uninstalled, the WP7 template is also gone, but if you re-install express for Windows Phone, there will be a problem because expression studio 4 has been installed (the problem of both fish and bear's paw cannot be achieved ), but I want to have both the fish and the bear's paw, and I have to solve it manually. With vs's experience, it is easy to solve this problem.

The solution is as follows:

1. Download The WP7 offline installation package wpdt_rtm_en1.iso and use WinRAR or other related ISO tools to find the WCU \ windowsphone \ blend_windowsphone_en.exe file in the directory and decompress it.

2. Use WinRAR to open blend_windowsphone_en.exe again, find an installation package named blconen. Cab, and open the package. The following files are available:

the file in the red box in the figure is the template of blend for WP7, decompress it, and rename it all. ZIP file and put it in X: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Expression \ blend 4 \ projecttemplates \ ZH-Hans \ CSHARP \ Silverlight \ windowsphone (Chinese blend) or C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Expression \ blend 4 \ projecttemplates \ en \ CSHARP \ Silverlight \ windowsphone directory, and then open blend again to find that the WP7 template has been returned.
