Since VS2005, UI elements have been restricted from accessing different threads, and you can, of course, remove this limitation.

The following solutions are available for Framework3.0:

Private delegate void Dotask ();
Public Window1 ()

InitializeComponent ();

             Thread t = new Thread (new ThreadStart (Start));
            T.start ();
            
        }
        private void Start ()
         {
            System.Windows.Application.Current.Dispatcher.Invoke (Dispatcherpriority.background, New Dotask (Domytask));
       }
        private void Domytask ()
         { 
           //execute your code here
        
   }
