First, let's talk about my environment.
Release: Ubuntu 12.04
Kernel version: 3.2.0
Desktop Environment: GNOME
Machines are x86 32-bit architecture drops
After downloading the Deb package of WPS, you can't wait to go to the command line interface to install it.
1. Enter the Deb package path
2. Execute the command sudo dpkg-I wps-office_8.1.0.3117 + WPP ~ A1-0.1_i386.deb
The result is naturally an error. Ubuntu lacks some stuff.
Error message: dpkg: dependency issues make WPS-office configuration unable to continue:
WPS-Office depends on TTF-mscorefonts-installer; however:
The software package TTF-mscorefonts-installer is not installed.
3. Install TTF-mscorefonts-installer and run the sudo apt-Get install TTF-mscorefonts-installer command.
(You can also download the installation package from the http://packages.debian.org/lenny...-installer/download and then execute the sudo dpkg-I ttf-mscorefonts-installer_2.7_all.deb for installation)
The result is still an error. What is missing this time is cabextract.
Iron deficiency, zinc deficiency and zinc supplementation, cabextract Deficiency
4. Install cabextract and execute sudo apt-Get install cabextract. This installation is successful and there is no shortage of things.
5. Then, of course, re-Execute sudo apt-Get install TTF-mscorefonts-installer and sudo dpkg-I wps-office_8.1.0.3117 + WPP ~ A1-0.1_i386.deb. This is a success.
Use it after installation ~
