We sometimes need to know what the contents of each column or row are when we use the WPS table to edit or browse the contents of the table. When a table has a lot of content, if we fixed the row headings (some of the column headings) in the table, wouldn't it be convenient for us to edit or view the contents of the table? It saves the time to flip forward and view the row or column headings.
To share this technique clearly with you, let me show you one of the conveniences he brings to us.
Take a closer look at the following two screenshots:
Figure 1
Figure 2
Does the row header not move while the table content is flipped? So how did I do it?
I'll start with the selected cell A2 (or the entire second row), and then click window → freeze pane on the menu, and then a black line appears and the row headings are fixed. It's simple! See Figure 3:
Figure 3
To cancel a fixed row, click window → unfreeze panes on the menu, as shown in Figure 4:
Figure 4
In fact, we can use this method to fix arbitrary rows and columns so that they are not affected by the flip screen.
Regardless of which cell we select, clicking Freeze Pane will fix the row above the cell and the column to the left.
