ASP. NET 5 is relatively new. Aside from Tom's blog posts, there are not many learning materials. It is quite painful to learn without examples.

1. Run vs2015, create a project, select Asp. Net 5 WebApp template, and run it by default. Compare Tom's blog posts to get more benefits.

2. Click the relevant link on the running webpage. There is a small example of View Components in MVC 6, which is good for learning. As follows:

As this is an official example, the explanation is quite detailed.

3. Asp. Net 5 seems more complicated. However, to achieve cross-platform architecture, to embrace the front-end, to unify MVC, WebForm, WebApi, and so on.
