One, the installation under Windows

1. Introduction of Installation Environment:

2. Installing the JDK
To the official Oracle download Jdk-8u45-windows-x64.exe and install, the default is installed to the C drive, according to their own circumstances to choose the directory
Add environment variable Java_home (in fact Jdk8 has been added automatically, not add, jdk8 the following version to be added manually)
C:\Program files\java\jdk1.8.0_45
Add environment variable Classpath

3. Install the android SDK, download Installer_r24.3.3-windows.exe, I am here to install into the D:\ANDROID-SDK directory
Set environment variables after installation, right-my computer--Properties-Advanced system Settings-advanced-environment variables-system variables, find Path, double-click to modify, at the top of the increase:
.;D: \ Android-sdk\tools;d:\android-sdk\platform-tools;
(Note that the end must have; English semicolon, if you already have this value in Path, you do not need to add it.
If you want to update the SDK, choose one of the following two ways:
(1) (as if it doesn't work) domestic users can set host:203.208.46.200 dl-ssl.google.com
(2) (recommended) Open Android SDK manager,tools, options...,http proxy Server Fill "mirrors.dormforce.net", HTTP proxy port "80", and then tick "Force Https://...sources to be fetched using http://...", close after packages reload or turn off reopen. 4. Install NDK, unzip android-ndk-r8d-windows.zip to the specified directory, I am here to install into the D:\ANDROID-NDK directory
After installation, create a new environment variable, Android_ndk_path, with the following values:
D:\android-ndk\android-ndk-r8d

5. Online installation, directly run XamarinInstaller.exe for automatic installation (domestic users need FQ);
(recommended) Offline installation: Install individually (if upgrade, 2 and 3):
1) Gtk-sharp-2.12.26.msi
2) Xamarin.visualstudio_3.11.666.msi
3) Xamarinstudio-5.9.4.5-0.msi
