XAMPP configuration steps for debugging PHP with Chrome and eclipse
1. After installing XAMPP, open the php.ini file, cancel the last [XDebug] comment, pay special attention to the meta-debugging function: xdebug.remote_enable = 1, restart XAMPP Apache service.
2. Install the PHP debug plugin for Chrone browser: Xdebug heler.
3. Set PHP excutables in Eclipse-php-helios-sr2-win32 Preferences, point to the PHP installation path in Xampp, and select Xdebug as the debugger.
4. Select Xdebug at Debug, and PHP excutables Select the execution environment set up in the previous step. Configuration installed Debugger inside the Xdebug, be sure to
Set the Accept remote session to Loaclhost or any, otherwise eclipse will not stop at the breakpoint.
5. Set breakpoints in Eclipse and start debugging in the Chrone browser.
Precautions
- When you start debugging in Chrome, you need to select Debug mode
- If you do not need each breakpoint to stay on the first line, you can cancel the "stop in first row" option.
