I also have this problem, have already stopped the service to start again, or can not solve the problem.

The pro should be the computer before installing XAMPP MySQL, and then the default boot is the previous MySQL
I also had a similar problem, and later modified the registry
[Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\mysql] ImagePath modified into a new XAMPP position \mysql\bin\mysqld MySQL
Restart the Explorer.exe process for the registry to take effect
Click again on the start,ok! behind MySQL MySQL service starts normally!


