Problem phenomenon:

The problem is this, one day I am busy working in the office, a large user suddenly called to say that some of the leading desktop can not log on. I think not ah, can not let the leadership feel our platform is not good, immediately remote past to view the desktop status of these leaders, on the DDC to view the normal display, on the ACS (CloudStack) into the desktop console mode is still normal. Both the DDC and the VDA end have no obvious errors for this issue, and the status shown on the DDC is also registered.

Cause of the problem:

After multiple troubleshooting, can not find the cause of the problem. Helpless to help Citrix after the sale, after help Citrix said this is a known bug of XenDesktop7.6, and currently has been repaired.

Workaround:

Although the bug is not fixed, but there is an alternative to the solution, is to turn the problem of the desktop "old graphics mode", the display mode from the existing H264 transfer to GDI instructions, in the Citrix decoder known as the existing ThinWireV2 changed to ThinWireV2 decoder, After the change, the phenomenon of Flash disappeared immediately.

If the user impact is not large, then the problem of the user's desktop tagging (tag), and for this tag issued "Old graphics mode" policy, if you want to once and for all, fear of other users this problem, it is a smart way for all users to issue the "old graphics mode" strategy.
