I believe that students who develop applications through java and SQLServer have experienced the following similar problems.

The official JDBC driver provided by Microsoft is not placed in the Maven repository. If your Java application needs to access SQL Server, You have to download sqljdbc4.jar to your local device, run the following Maven command to install the driver:

mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=com.microsoft.sqlserver -DartifactId=sqljdbc4 -Dversion=4.0 -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=YOUR FILE DIR\sqljdbc4.jar

Then, configure the following in the POM. xml file of your Java application:

<dependency>    <groupId>com.microsoft.sqlserver</groupId>    <artifactId>sqljdbc4</artifactId>    <version>4.0</version></dependency>

Finally, execute:

mvn clean package

If you are using Eclipse for development, you may need to restart Eclipse if the compilation fails after the above steps are executed.

Perhaps it was a strong response from the masses of developers, or for any other reason. Microsoft released this driver to the Maven central repository in the last month (December, next time you want to install the SQL Server Driver, directly go to POM. in the xml file, perform the following configuration (Microsoft provides two versions (6.1.0.jre8 and 6.1.0.jre7). My current development is based on Java8, so I chose 6.1.0.jre8. For details, refer to here ):
