Installation in Windows
1. First download the latest installation package at http://www.igniterealtime.org/projects/openfire/index.jsp
* Note that the JRE version and the JRE version are not included, and the JRE version must be supported by JRE 1.5.0 or later.
2.install or decompress openfire.exe
* To add openfirep to a service, run the following command:
Openfire-service/install -- install the service
Openfire-service/uninstall -- uninstall the service
Openfire-service/start -- start the service
Openfire-service/Stop -- stop the service
Open the browser http: // 127.0.0.1: 9090/to go to the step by step installation page.
Step 1 select Chinese Language Support
Step 2 configure the domain name and manage the port number
Step 3 configure the database
You can choose to use an external database or HSQLDB. We recommend that you use an external database.
Openfire3.6.2 supports the following external databases:
MySQL
Oracle
Sqlserver
Postresql
DB2
After selecting the database to be used, configure the connection
* Note that openfire does not provide the Oracle driver by default. Copy your Oracle to the lib directory.
If the connection is successful, openfire will automatically initialize the database and complete the database configuration.
* There are SQL scripts for related databases under resources \ Database
Step 4: users and groups
Openfire user/group support
Database
LDAP
Clearspace
Step 5 Administrator Password
Set the Administrator's email address and password
After completing the preceding operations, openfire installation is complete.
Open http: // 127.0.0.1: 9090/again, and enter the configured administrator password.
* The default administrator user is admin.
Now you can log on to the system using spark.
Download the latest spark http://www.igniterealtime.org/projects/spark/index.jsp version
After installation is complete and running
Click Account [accounts]
Enter the user name, password, and server, and then create an account [Create account]
After the creation is successful, you can log on. (Not even a friend)
